Refund Policy

 

We hope you are happy with your purchase, but should you wish to return an item either because of a change of mind or due to an issue with the product, we will try and make it as simple as possible for you. Please note that we ae unable to refund customised items that have been adapted/made specially for you, unless they are defective.

  • We have a 14 day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
  • To begin the process of a return, please firstly contact us at info@colourfultime.co.uk. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please post your return to us via a trackable and insured service e.g. Royal Mail tracked, Hermes or DPD and obtain a proof of postage. Ensure the parcel is addressed correctly, is well protected and return to: Colourful Time, 20a Market St, New Mills, Derbyshire SK22 4AE. If a trackable service is not used and your return goes missing and we don’t receive it, then we cannot be held accountable for missing items and will not be held liable.

DAMAGES AND ISSUES

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item within 5 days, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

EXCEPTIONS / NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as items that have been specially made for you, have been customised with materials, colour or personal names. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.

EXCHANGES

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, we will refund you and then you can make a separate purchase for the new item.

REFUNDS

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
